The Spatial Analysis Center (SAC) is a shared facility of the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability that supports research on environmental changes based on remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS). It provides state-of-the-art equipment and expertise for Stanford researchers who conduct geospatial analyses. Ongoing research projects combine remote sensing data with spatial data from a variety of other sources to create innovative maps and visualizations that enhance our understanding of Earth systems and global change processes.
